That’s not exactly an everyday occurrence in business, sports or Las Vegas as a whole, but when he said his Golden Knights would win a Stanley Cup in six years, they did just that. He’s about as hands-on as it gets when it comes to NHL ownership, but that hasn’t stopped him from continually investing into sports and his vast assortment of wineries, hotels, restaurants and golf courses. Foley leaves most of the heavy lifting on the hockey side to his executives, but it’s been evident from past negotiations that he is certainly involved.
