Dolan remains active at the helm of the Madison Square Garden empire, and therefore the New York Rangers and all of MSG’s many sports and entertainment elements. Since Dolan, 68, took over the MSG reins in 1999, the Rangers have risen to the NHL financial pinnacle. In its December 2023 report, Forbes estimated that the Rangers rank No. 2, worth $2.65 billion, and Dolan has denied rumors that he wants to sell all or part of the Blueshirts or the NBA’s Knicks, worth an estimated $6.5 billion.
