The Ducks haven’t been to the playoffs since 2018 and have finished sixth or lower in the Pacific in each of the past five seasons. No Western Conference team had a lower points percentage between the start of 2018-19 and end of 2022-23. In other markets, such results might lead to an unsettled fan base, but while Anaheim faithful want the Ducks to return to their winning ways, the overarching patience and trust speak volumes about the goodwill the Samuelis have earned.
