W. GRAEME ROUSTAN: You’ve been around for 45 years. It’s been a storied career, and players going all the way back know you on a first-name basis. Can you tell us a bit about what players were like back then versus now? JIM GEARY: There are certainly some differences, but not a lot. The game, we all know, the game is the game, and it’s changed to a certain degree, but not a lot. I would say the game is bigger, better and faster today. Everything gets advanced, that is the mindset and the training of the athletes, that is the business side of the sport of hockey and, of course, the advancement of products that’s helped to make the game bigger, better and faster.
