W. GRAEME ROUSTAN: What was it like growing up in Boston with the Bruins?
MARTY WALSH: It was incredible. That was my first love in sports, the Bruins. I was born in 1967, so as a young kid growing up in Boston, I just missed the Bobby Orr era. I did meet him when I was sick as a kid in a children’s hospital. It was amazing. At seven years old, I met Bobby Orr, it’s like the greatest thing in the world. I’ve told him the story a million times.
WGR: Isn’t it great the impact that players can have on a young kid in a hospital just by showing up?
