GARY BETTMAN: I wasn’t surprised in the slightest. To have one of our 32 franchises, to have it in the nation’s capital in Canada, we thought this was an incredible opportunity. My only concern was, historically, our franchises have been undervalued. And we were hopeful that this franchise would begin to establish the types of values that we think NHL franchises should have.
