Bryony experienced a creative upbringing in the New Forest and she now lives in Bristol. She has overcome addiction and homelessness, and is a musician, writer and artist. “I’ve spent a lot of time recently reflecting on my own past, my childhood,” she says. “This image of Amy came to mind, that pre-adolescent gaze, a mind that was capable of feeling such powerful emotion, yet emanating raw vulnerability at the same time. Eyes filled with the prospects of such beautiful dreams of stardom and success, and I wanted to envelop that snapshot in time, with a bold explosion of colour.
