(STREET) FOOTBALL IS COMING HOME

While excitement builds towards the World Cup final in Moscow this weekend, another momentous tournament took place last week. Austrian city Graz hosted the first Homeless World Cup back in 2003 when 12 teams kicked off a competition that has grown ever since, transforming the lives of the players taking part. The European Street Football Festival marked the 15th anniversary of the first tournament with 14 teams representing 11 nations taking to the pitch, including an England men’s side and a women’s team from Wales.
