A watch on the night of 11-12 August will reveal the ramp up to maximum, and 12-13 August will reveal the ramp down. There also might be an Aurigid meteor outburst at the end of the month, with the peak night on 31 August-1 September, when the radiant is near ThEta (η) Aurigae.
