Making prints A downside of watercolour is that each painting is unique and consequently expensive. To enable more people to purchase an original work I'm having a look at printing. Some years ago I was in contact with a very talented etcher called Jason Hicklin. Jason is now City & Guilds of London Art School's Printing Manager. I never went to art school but a short film I found on YouTube gave me a chance to take a tour of the print room. For an etcher, Jason's methods are unusually 'painterly' including his 'tours' by foot to gather freehand reference information en plein air.
