It’s early and I’ve found what we loveis sometimes silenced by what we also love,
not because the moon is the problembut because two moons are a galaxydazzling with fullness but you can’t keepa universe to yourself
sometimes you have to returna gentle planet to its shelfnot because you were too greedy,but because tenderness is not for sale
it’s early so I tiptoe through my sinsnot because I’m thoughtful of otherssleeping but because I wouldn’t mind
living in a world with two moonsI wouldn’t mind slipping a few satellitesinto my pocket instead of a lifewith limited lunar events
tenderness is wholesale and it wants meto pull it from the shelf tendernesshas a voicebox tenderness keepssaying Close your eyes close your eyestenderness will not turn off
