RASPBERRY MERINGUE HEARTS Here’s a special raspberry dessert that your guests will think is almost too pretty to eat! I love the way the meringue easily drapes into a heart shape. —Mary Lou Wayman, Salt Lake City, UT Prep: 30 min. + standing Bake: 35 min. + cooling Makes: 6 servings 3 large egg whites¼ tsp. cream of tartar Dash salt1 cup sugar⅓ cup finely chopped almonds, toasted1 tsp. vanilla extract FILLING 3 cups fresh or frozen unsweetened raspberries, thawed1 tsp. cornstarch½ cup seedless raspberry jam3 cups raspberry or lemon sorbet⅓ cup sliced almonds, toastedAdditional fresh raspberries, optional 1.
