Doggy Birthday Cake Using ingredients that pups can eat, like applesauce and mashed bananas, you can whip up a delicious canine birthday treat in no time. —Molly Allen @mollyallenmedia 1⅔ cups all-purpose flour1 tsp. baking soda¾ cup unsweetened applesauce¼ cup canola oil1 ripe banana, mashed1 large egg½ cup plain Greek yogurt3 Tbsp. natural peanut butterOptional toppings: Grated carrot and dog treats 1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Mix in applesauce, oil, banana and egg. 2. Lightly grease two 6-in. round cake pans with cooking spray. Line pans with parchment. Divide batter evenly between pans. Bake for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
