(¼ oz.) active dry yeast1 tsp. sugar½ cup warm water (110° to 115°)2 cups warm 2% milk (110° to 115°)½ cup butter, melted2 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten2¾ cups all-purpose flour1 tsp. salt½ tsp. baking soda 1. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water; let stand for 5 minutes. Add milk, butter and eggs; mix well. Combine the flour and salt; stir into the milk mixture.
