HAPPY HANUKKAH!

Light the menorah, spin the dreidel and fry up the latkes. Then enjoy the sweets on this dazzling dessert board.

POPS OF COLOR Our board relies heavily on candies (like gumballs, gummy bears, Hershey’s Kisses, Lindor truffles and rock candy) that are blue and white (representing the colors of Israeli flag) as well as silver and gold (symbolizing the precious metals used on menorahs). We also added chocolate-covered pretzels for a sweet-and-salty option. BOOZY BEVERAGE For the adults, offer brandy Alexanders alongside the board. For each serving, combine 1 oz. brandy, 1 oz. creme de cacao and 1 oz. heavy cream in a shaker filled with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a little freshly grated nutmeg. MAKE IT AHEAD You can make this dessert board in advance. Tightly cover it to keep the cookies fresh. When guests arrive, unwrap and serve. L’Chaim!
