Female comedi ans celebrate their voices

The Savanna Comic Choice Awards announced the nominees for their 10th annual awards while celebrating International Women's Day with an electric vibe. The Comic Choice Awards nomination ceremony was hosted at Raddison Red Hotel in the heart of Rosebank on Wednesday afternoon. Three of the four nominated women, some of who were nominated in more than one category, said the South African comedy industry had grown and had become more inclusive of women. Nina Hastie was nominated for the UpLIFTing Comedic Content and Funny Influencer Content awards.
