The Sun Jumped Over the Moon
By: Kathy Diebold
Illustrated by: Emily Smith
The Sun Jumped Over the Moon explores how having friendships is important to encourage and help each other believe in one's self to accomplish what seems like the impossible. It illustrates how peers can influence their friends in a positive way to motivate them to be their best. The Illustrations throughout are eye-catching and will draw the children into the book. The way that all of the friends encourage the Sun is a reminder for all of us that we should never give up, and that we should always be there to help our friends.
