"Is this normal picky eating stuff, or is there more going on here?"
In Stories of Extreme Picky Eating, Jennifer addresses this question by inviting you into her nutritional therapy office to meet real kids struggling with serious food aversions. Extreme picky eating isn't unique to spectrum disorders, and it isn't a rare ailment. Jennifer's clients make up a wide population of children who have one thing in common: their inability to eat is interfering with their well-being and the well-being of their families.
Backed by cutting-edge research―and including kid-friendly activities and intervention plans―this book outlines the complex issues that drive children's picky eating habits and implements key strategies that can set them on the path to enjoying a more diverse, nutritious diet.
Jennifer's professional insight and step-by-step strategies will help even the pickiest eaters discover the pleasures of eating and sharing meals with others while enjoying the empowerment that comes with being able to feed their bodies what they need.
