L’arazzo di Bayeux illustra l’allestimento della grande flotta con cui i guerrieri normanni di origine vichinga invasero l’Inghilterra nel 1066.

LA COSTRUZIONE DELLA FLOTTA Una sezione dell’arazzo raffigura il processo di costruzione della flotta del duca Guglielmo.
