SAUDI-ARABIEN Viele Menschen, wenig Platz: Wer zum Hadsch nach Mekka fährt, weiß, wie eng es dort zugeht. Offenbar aber nicht nur beim Umschreiten der Kaaba, sondern auch im Straßenverkehr. Dieser Kleinbus ist – nach deutschen Maßstäben – ein Fall für die Polizei. Mehr als 20 Pilger reisen mit und hoffen, dass der Fahrer nicht zu einer Vollbremsung gezwungen wird. Denn dann wäre die Reise für die Männer auf dem Dach überraschend schnell zu Ende. In diesem Jahr pilgerten mehr als zwei Millionen Muslime nach Mekka. Größere Zwischenfälle blieben nach offiziellen Angaben aus. Insofern dürfte auch diese Fahrt glimpflich ausgegangen sein.…
