From Betazed to the Holodeck Candice Renee has wanted to dress like Lwaxana Troi since she first saw her while watching Star Trek: The Next Generation with her parents. “She was so incredibly glamorous, confident and fabulous – exactly what I wasn't, as an awkward kid,” notes Candice. “I literally imagined what it would be like to wear a plant on my arm like some sort of pet snake.” The fan's Lwaxana cosplay is particularly special to her, as she handmade it and sewed everything herself. “I feel almost as fabulous as Lwaxana when I wear it.” As someone who is drawn to capturing the looks of strong female characters, Candice gravitated toward Kathryn Janeway, describing the captain's holodeck…
