Professor Nick Bostrom of the UK's Oxford University published a book entitled Superintelligence: Paths, Dangers, Strategies, in which he warned true Artificial Intelligence could pose the greatest ever threat to humanity. The warning will sound familiar, but the distinction regarding Superintelligence is a significant one and, because it chimes so much with Treknology, worth further examination.
