In the 20th century… Patrick Stewart leaped out at me. I was browsing the magazine rack in the Newport, Isle of Wight, branch of WHSmith when the actor who played Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the Star Trek: The Next Generation television show and movies grabbed my attention from the front cover of the very first issue of Star Trek: The Official Monthly Magazine. It was March 1995, and Titan Magazines had launched its flagship magazine - leading the way for other licensed titles that would follow from the London-based publisher.
