Our last issue – and what a voyage it has been!

I'm starting this final “Captain's Log” as I began my first, back in 1995 in Star Trek Monthly, with this quote from Star Trek's creator, Gene Roddenbery: “If only one out of a million stars in the galaxy had worlds and if only one out of a million of these worlds were capable of supporting life, and if only one out of a million of those bore intelligent life, there would still be millions of inhabited worlds for us to visit. So much for the question: 'Are there any Star Trek stories left?'” Almost 30 years on, we very definitely have the answer: yes, there were, and are, although Star Trek Explorer will no longer be on hand to tell them.
