Since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced last year that they were divorcing, the two have been refuting rumors of a reconciliation, stating they were simply spending time together for their children’s sake. But that certainly wasn’t the case on Sept. 22, when Ben and Jen, both 44, left their brood at home — with a babysitter, no less! — to grab dinner at The Hungry Cat in Santa Monica. “It looked like Ben and Jen were on a first date,” an eyewitness at the eatery tells Star. “He was an absolute gentleman, opening the door for Jen and pulling out her chair.
