AFTER 51 YEARS of having no Lombardi Trophies at all, the Birds now have a pair of them. Which means that, for the very first time, Eagles fans can enjoy the luxury of comparing one Super Bowl title against another. This one feels different, doesn’t it? That first one, earned seven years ago, was a classic Philly tale—that is to say, an underdog story. Dog masks became the hot fan accessory when some of the players started wearing them after games, and the 41–33 win over the Patriots in Super Bowl LII served as the prelude to the most storied public oration in Philadelphia since the reading of the Declaration of Independence.
