More than 1.8 million young athletes play flag football in the U.S., and in four years, the sport will make its Olympic debut. The game’s rising stars huddled at the Hall of Fame Village in July for the NFL Flag Championships. The four-day tournament crowned 14 winners. Several players stood out. Janasia Wilson (far right, top) led the Staten Island Giants to the 18-and-under girls championship. Next year she will be a player for Keiser University, the NAIA Flag Football Championship game runner-up. Meanwhile, Peyton Dickerson (far right, bottom) of the Lockdown Legends went viral for his smooth throws.
