Getting one draft pick right can put a team on the path to success. But when it nails two (or more) top selections in one year, look out.

2024 Rome Odunze AND Caleb Williams Chicago Bears That couldn’t have worked out much better for the Bears, huh? NFL.com ranked Williams and Odunze as the No. 1 and No. 3 prospects in the class. An unprecedented run on quarterbacks ensured that the Bears were going to get a great value with the ninth pick, but to get Odunze, a player who has been compared to Larry Fitzgerald, was a dream scenario. 2024 Cameron Brink AND Rickea Jackson Los Angeles Sparks Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever dominated WNBA draft headlines this year, but two teams picked twice in the first seven selections.
