Sustainable living expert Elena Cimelli shares the importance of expressing gratitude to the Earth

As I’ve mentioned previously, our family lived in California for three-and-a-half years from 2014 to 2017. But my connection with the US began much earlier. My degree is in American Studies, and I spent a year of that at an American university on Long Island, New York. As such, over the years, the US holiday of Thanksgiving on November 24th has become a part of the yearly rhythm of our lives. For me, Thanksgiving marks a moment in the year when I give thanks for everything the United States has given me and our family.
