This month we celebrate World Wellbeing Week, which runs from June 21st to 29th. Among other things, it aims to raise the importance of wellbeing in the workplace. All too often, wellbeing focuses on our personal life, but have you ever considered how you can take care of yourself at work, too? With our work/life roles more blurred than ever, is it any wonder a 2021 survey by employment website Indeed found 52% of employees who responded said they felt burnt out. Burnout is described by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion, increased mental distance from your job, feelings of negativism or cynicism relating to your job, and reduced professional efficacy.
