Did you know July is National Picnic Month? Neither did I! But how wonderful is that? I love a picnic. It’s so nice to spend time outdoors on a sunny day, chatting and eating with friends and family. For those of us with children in our lives, it means they can run about and burn off some of their endless energy too, while we relax and reboot. Brilliant! As a family, we eat outside as many evenings as we can, this time of year. And our kids love the excitement of having dinner on a picnic rug, instead of being forced to sit at the table with us.
