Being born is not something most people remember, but I do! Throughout my life I have had a recurring vision which, as I got older, I believed was a dream. It was the only way I could process what I saw. In the dream, prisms of colour were coming at me in waves, and there was a calmness which filled the room. I was looking down and saw a child being born, and so many intricate details. Deep down, I knew the child was me. I told my mother, recounting exactly what I had seen, and I will never forget the look on her face. She sat with her mouth open, just staring. Then she said that is exactly what had happened when I was born, and it turns out the umbilical cord…
