Add the olive oil and balsamic vinegar and gently mix until the tomatoes are well coated. Meanwhile lightly toast the bread and, while it’s still warm, rub the garlic clove over each slice. Spoon the tomato mixture evenly over the bread. Chop or tear the basil leaves and scatter on top of the tomatoes. Season with black pepper and serve.…
