Father’s sign When the pandemic hit, my parents were stranded at our home in Tobago, then my father fell ill, and sadly passed away while I was on the flight over. When we returned to the UK, we arranged a celebration of his life with photos and decorations in the colours of the Trinidad and Tobago flag. A week later, I went for an operation on my voice, as I had a nodule on my gland. When I woke, I picked up my compact to look at my throat.
