Nadie Salva a Las Rosas / Nobody Saves the Roses

Rihanna, una joven trans de Marruecos es torturada hasta la muerte por sus secuestradores en las afueras de Barcelona. Marina regresa de un viaje y descubre que su amiga y compaera de piso ha sido brutalmente asesinada. Yusuf est asimilando el nacimiento de su hija cuando recibe una llamada: la joven no acompaada a la que ha estado apoyando en los ltimos diez aos ha muerto y hay ms. Las desgracias nunca llegan solas. Los inspectores encargados de la investigacin no tienen ninguna pista y no reciben colaboracin de los conocidos de la vctima.

Marina y Yusuf no se fan y prefieren investigar por su cuenta. La Rihanna que ellos conocen no tiene enemigos, ms all de los problemas que acumulan todos los jvenes no acompaados que han pasado por diferentes centros de acogida para acabar en la calle sin la tutela de ninguna administracin.

Las piezas del puzzle estn esparcidas entre Casablanca y Barcelona. Unirlas no ser tan fcil, nada es sencillo cuando el destino de muchos lo deciden unos pocos.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

A fast-paced crime novel, a mysterious murder in which nothing and no one is what it seems.

Rihanna, a young trans woman from Morocco is tortured to death by her kidnappers on the outskirts of Barcelona. Marina returns from a trip and discovers that her friend and roommate was brutally murdered. Yusuf is coming to terms with the birth of his daughter when he receives a call: the unaccompanied young woman he has been supporting for the past ten years has died and there is more. Misfortune never comes alone! The inspectors in charge of the investigation do not have any leads and do not receive help from the victim's acquaintances.

Marina and Yusuf don't trust the Police and prefer to investigate on their own. Rihanna as they know her has no enemies, only the problems accumulated by all the unaccompanied young people who have gone through different shelters to end up on the streets without the protection of any administration.

The pieces of the puzzle are scattered between Casablanca and Barcelona. Connecting them will not be so easy since nothing is simple when the fate of many is decided by a few.
