Psalm 139:14 says that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” In fact, we are so wonderfully made that we will last forever—at least our spirits will.
Unfortunately, what we tend to think is that our bodies will live forever, and so we spend and overspend on cosmetics, diets, clothes, fitness programs, and then spend time on self-pampering. But how much energy do we put into the part of us that is really worth improving?
How much time do we spend on our spirit? Do we spend as much time each day praying as we do spraying or eating? Millions of us would have to answer “no” to that question.
