This ‘cruelty free’ lifestyle was once perceived to be bland and boring. I’ll be the first to admit that prior to my transition I associated the diet with little more than grass, grains and a bunch of vegetables. If you were to ask me what the most appealing vegan snack is, without a shadow of doubt my answer would have been carrot sticks and hummus. Although I still considered them a tasty snack, countless options now replace the pair on my list. How rapidly times have changed, and the changes continue.
