When I saw my husband take Rudy for a ride in the Rudy Mobile, I asked myself, who does that? Who would take the time to indulge their pet in a slow-moving vehicle with the emergency lights on going down the street? Was that because the van was old and did not have enough oomph? At that moment, I heard a voice from within me say, "You will write a book and share the story of Rudolph."
The Rudy Mobile started, and off they drove together.
The talented and gifted artist of all the illustrations in the book is Charlene Mosley, whom I crossed paths with at the nearby community college where I work and where Charlene attended. Charlene, born in Germany, speaks fluent German, is past president of the school art club, and attends San Diego State University where she will receive her Bachelor of Arts degree.
I am so blessed to have crossed paths with Charlene, who shares the vision of this story. This is truly the workmanship of the Lord and how well we know it.
