The Road to Damascus: Transformation for the Next Level is an exciting and powerful journey through which Messianic believers and Christians can come to understand and experience the importance of continual transformation in our walks with Yeshua (Jesus). The Father sends the Messiah to each of us once to call us out of darkness into the light of a true and lasting relationship with Him. Yet He continues to send the Messiah to us to transform us into His image.

The transformation of the emissary Sha'ul (Apostle Paul) began on the road to Damascus, but it did not end there. He was continually transformed through a vibrant and intimate relationship with Messiah. As a devoted and learned child of Isra'el and the emissary to the Gentiles, Sha'ul is an excellent example for both Jews and Gentiles of surrendering to Messiah's will and being transformed into His image. In The Road to Damascus, the divine perfection of Sha'ul's first transforming experience, as revealed in Acts 9:1-22, serves as a model to believers of the importance of continual transformation in all areas of our lives.

On the road to Damascus, Sha'ul believed that he was headed to success, to rewards from man and God, and to self-fulfillment. Like him, we can't see that destruction lies ahead unless Yeshua points it out to us. We've been trained our entire lives to see only what we want to see, just as Sha'ul was. It's not until God uses the Light of the World to grab our attention that we have the opportunity to see and accept the truth: our sins lead us to death, separation from Him eternally and death in every form here on earth.

The Messiah is the detour sign on our road to Damascus, a.k.a. destruction. God uses Yeshua (Jesus) to help us make a U-turn on this road and walk toward life, life forever in His presence and life in its fullest measure in this age. Times change, people change, but God does not change. His will for us is the same as it was when He sent His Son to die for our sins: He wishes that none would be lost.
