SINGER’S DIVETRACK TELLS A VERY NICHE KIND OF TIME.

BY AND LARGE, all dive watches have the same fundamental features: water resistance, bright luminescence for seeing at depth, a rotating 60-minute timing bezel. The problem with normal dive watches, and even many modern dive computers, is that their specialized functionality is moot once you get out of the water. But experienced divers know that’s not the whole story. Knowing duration under the water is important, but the surface interval—the amount of time spent out of the water afterward—is also crucial for allowing nitrogen built up in the blood during dives to slowly dissipate.
