Designed primarily for a multidisciplinary and Christian student audience, this book uses the metaphor of the biblical tabernacle to show that scientific research is really service to and worship of God. (...) Christian researchers will realize that the approach advocated by this book in its first five chapters is similar to the ""problem, literature, methodology, result, and discussion"" style, but laid out in a very innovative way, adding an aspect that is lacking in many works aligned with this classic model that has become woefully inadequate in many contexts. Apart from the metaphorical approach of the work, another innovative aspect is the importance it places on the solution of the real problem to give life. This vitalist approach is to be emphasized! The last two chapters reflect this, speaking respectively of the metaphor of preparation for the final offering and that of the duty to dwell in the presence of God. This is the apotheosis of the innovative contribution of this book, which I would like to see in any library where the promotion of holistic scientific research is on the agenda.
