How to be HAPPY

Reader – I ask you to suspend your judgement of me before I finish this, the opening sentence for my first Red column: I went to Thailand a few months ago and hung out with a Buddhist monk. Before you rush off on to the next page, let me explain… I was reviewing a retreat for this very magazine about a spa outside of Phuket, and a session with a monk was part of the deal.
