With a 10-round, double-stack .45ACP magazine, steel frame, and 4.65-inch cold hammer forged barrel, it’s not a pistol for those with short hands or dainty wrists. The 97 was CZ’s first pistol in .45ACP — no doubt an attempt to expand their presence in the U.S. commercial market. Weighing in at just under 42 ounces, this handheld howitzer isn’t likely to spend any time in an appendix holster, but it has excellent potential as a nightstand gun for home defense.…
