Rail industry members converged on the Newark Showground on June 19 for the annual Women in Rail’s Big Rail Diversity Challenge.
Now in its ninth year, the event has become a cornerstone for promoting diversity and teamwork, with various companies participating in a series of physical, mental and skill-based challenges.
Testing communication and teamwork, the challenges included activities such as Human Table Football, Shelter Building, and the Catwalk Challenge. Importantly, they were designed to involve every participant.
Key industry partners such as the British Transport Police and the Railway Children charity participated, creating challenges that tackled real-world issues and promoted social responsibility.
The prizes went to winning teams from East Midlands Railway, the Railway Industry Association, 3Squared Ltd, and Worldline UK&I.…
