The Class 395 Javelin unit that went through the end of a siding in late November is still awaiting removal.
The electric multiple unit (395008) overshot the siding at the western end of Ramsgate maintenance depot on November 28.
A planned recovery on December 28-29 was postponed due to resource constraints, and no new removal date has been arranged.
A Southeastern spokesman told RAIL that to prevent further disruption, the priority is “to try to match the recovery to an existing line block in the area”.
While the unit remains out of action, three Southeastern services each day run as a single six-carriage train, rather than two units making a 12-car formation.…
