‘OO’ Class 104 from Heljan

HELJAN has initiated design work for a ‘OO’ gauge model of afrequently requested first generation DMU: The BRCW Class 104 of which 302 vehicles were built for allocation to the Midland and Eastern Regions. Six different types of vehicle made up the 302 vehicles making it an interesting, if tooling-heavy class of DMU to produce, which might be one reason why a ‘OO’ gauge model has not been forthcoming until now. The Heljan model will span the history of the class from its first appearance in 1957 until the final examples of the type were withdrawn from service in 1993.
