ACCURASCALE MDO/MDA ANNOUNCED

ACCURASCALE continues to storm ahead with new model development and as the ‘OO’ gauge PTA wagons hit the quayside in November, it added a traditional BR wagon design to its portfolio in keeping with its new ‘Powering Britain’ plan of model development (which may see models of the HAA family announced too). The MDO/MDV 21t mineral wagon was built in large numbers on 12-foot wheelbase underframes by numerous manufacturers including BR workshops. Two types are planned for release including the unfitted Diagram 1/107 (MDO) of which 2500 were built with welded bodies and unfitted long link braked RCH underframes from 1950.
