Meanwhile at the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway, No. 37023 has had its roof removed to enable its power unit to be lifted out for attention. ‘GOYLE’ RETURNS OUT of action since 2016 and having undergone a major overhaul, the Midland & Great Northern Joint Society’s No. D5631 (31207) undertook a test run along the full length of the line at the North Norfolk Railway on November 13. ‘DELTIC’ LATEST AT Locomotive Services’ Crewe depot, No. 55022 Royal Scots Grey has had its roof sections removed in advance of the return of overhauled power units, which have been away at aspecialist repair facility since 2018.
