Psyche, the most sought-after woman in Greece, earns the jealousy and wrath of the Greek goddess, Aphrodite. When Aphrodite sends her son, Eros, to "take care" of the problem, he does more damage than good. Instead of getting rid of Psyche once and for all, he falls in love with her. In a twist of fate, Psyche is tricked into marrying him against her knowledge. During their marriage, Eros remains invisible, afraid to reveal himself to his wife, knowing that his mother is hiding somewhere in the shadows.
