JON ANDERSON ANNOUNCES RARE UK SHOWS THIS SUMMER

Former Yes vocalist to play Close To The Edge at two London dates in July, and he confirms work on a handful of studio projects.

Prog news updated daily online! progmagazine.com “We’re doing a load of Yes songs!” Jon Anderson will make his first live appearances in the UK since 2018 when he plays O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on July 22 and 23. The shows are part of his 11-date European tour celebrating Close To The Edge’s 51st anniversary, and will showcase material from that classic album along with plenty of surprises. “We’re going to be doing a load of mash-ups,” the singer reveals. “For instance, we do a version of Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir, which goes straight into Don’t Kill The Whale, and then Lenny Kravitz’s Fly Away, which segues into Long Distance Runaround. “But we’ll also be doing a load of Yes songs.
